The Santa Fe Farmers’ Market in partnership with Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center is committed to connecting local growers with the entire city of Santa Fe. The Santa Fe Farmers’ Del Sur Market is helping spread fresh, healthy food to our wonderful growing community.

This year, many community partners are working together to provide not only fresh and local food but also activities and family fun.  The Santa Fe Farmers Market Institute,  Presbyterian Community Health,  Youth Works Food Truck, Cooking With Kids, SF Children’s Museum, Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, Santa Fe Public Library and more will be popping up at the market providing an enriching and fun market experience.

Thanks to the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market Institute, EBT is accepted at all SFFM Markets including the Santa Fe Farmers’ Del Sur Market.  Thousands of dollars are doubled every year at the Del Sur Market with the Double Up Food Bucks Program, helping to provide local families with the freshest, most nutrient dense produce available.

WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Programs participants can get locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables from Santa Fe Farmers’ DEL SUR Market vendors during their market appointments.  www.wicnm.org

As a local chef, I love shopping at Tuesday Del Sur – I get to provide my customers with food that is thousands of miles fresher, I have the confidence of knowing the true source of the food I prepare and feel great about keeping dollars in my community. I also know that shopping locally provides great value; every year I am thrilled to find low prices at the Market, even better that my biggest vendors can provide. My favorite thing about shopping at Tuesday Del Sur, though, is spending time in a hectic day catching up with the friendly and welcoming farmers and staff that make up the rich diversity of the Market. – Chef David Sundberg

I love buying from the local farmers at the Farmers Market, feels good to support our local economy while feeding my family delicious seasonal produce. We also love the kids program- my kids get a chance to try new foods at the market and do fun craft projects, it’s so much better than a trip to the grocery store, the whole family looks forward to our trip to the market! – Shabd Simran Adeniji
